Absolutely.
Vandy is competitive with other sports that have athletes whom can actually read. Problem with fielding a competitive football team in the SEC is that they have to meet such high academic standards and they're not going to spoon feed an illiterate dumbass through their university.

It's only shot at ever having a competitive football program. I think they are content being a decent basketball and baseball school though and taking in SEC money.
