Looking for some cool places to go out in Fort Worth by the Sundance Square area? Any suggestions?

Are you a microbrew or beer snob? Flying Saucer is your place. They don't have things like Miller or Bud printed on their menus. I think you can order it but the waitress will secretly judge you. If you're new to exotic beers the waitress know their stuff and can guide you to something that you'll probably like even if you haven't ventured past the macrobrews of Miller, Coors and Bud.

I drink any type of beer and especially like microbreweries. Might have to test the place out.

They usually have a couple hundred available in all price ranges and styles. Every day there is a $3 FIRE SALE, meaning $3 pints of what they choose.

Saucer is sweet, Fox and Hound is great there too, its 2 floors.

They have a Petes Piano Bar which can be fun but not sure how busy on a Thursday night.

Catina Laredo has good happy hr specials and so does Razzoos cajun food.

Frankies sports bar is great too.

lots of stuff to do around there, very cool area.

Check this out. Sundance Square

Pete's is fairly lame. I'm not big on piano bars but Howl At The Moon and of course Pat O'Briens are better.

Saucer will be good to get some gastropub type food and a few off the wall brews. Fox & Hound will have darts, pool, shuffleboard etc though not as wide beer selection.

Cantina Laredo is a decent chain that's better than most national chains. A good locally owned place will be better but still not bad. A little expensive for Tex-Mex.

If it's like the Houston and Austin ones, it can get very loud and it's seat yourself. So keep a keen eye out for a table and snag anything that's open even if it's not been bused.

Around 7th St, add Poag Mahones and Shamrock for the college crowd.

Poag's is good spot as well. I live about a block a way. Also, try Eddie V's for dinner...Great food!

They just opened up an In N Out Burger next to Poag's as well.
