Former A&M and Mississippi State coach Jackie Sherrill (via Clarion-Ledger): "It’s a great deal for the SEC and it’s a great deal for Texas A&M. It opens up Texas for Mississippi State and Arkansas. The team that will benefit the most is Arkansas, because Arkansas, when they were fighting for national championships, the majority of their players came out of Texas. … Now, you open the door for Mississippi, Mississippi State and Arkansas. They’re going to benefit greatly. In the overall picture, it’s going to benefit everybody."

Arkansas loaded with more Texas kids is what got us to Fiesta, Orange, Cotton and Sugar Bowls minus last year's Sugar Bowl without a Texas loaded roster.
Petrino must be grinning from ear to ear. He always stated Arkansas proximity to Texas would be a large factor.
Okie State, Baylor, Texas Tech, Missouri, Kansas and Kansas State are throwing up now. The Spotlight just shifted more east towards Fayetteville and Baton Rouge.

Dallas to Arkansas and Houston towards LSU. Frank Broyles I'm sure is stoked he's now seen the maximum benefit Arkansas can achieve.. Money (SEC) and Texas Recruiting.

Even though I am inclined to believe this, I still wish they'd stay in the Big 12.
I think an ideal scenario for us is moving the SWClassic game to home and home, and scheduling another Texas team in Jerryworld, with cheaper tickets.
Maybe we could rotate TTech and TCU.

We've got ourselves in a pickle now..
If we stay at 8 conference games:
4 Road Games
5 Fayetteville
2 Little Rock (Losing Money here)
1 Dallas
Little Rock.. We are looking at you.. since Jeff Long Stated we literally almost make the same money from Fayetteville home games as Dallas.
How does the rotation of the SEC look now with 8 or 9 games?

Arkansas and LSU will benefit the most by far. Teams farther east (Bama, Auburn, UF) are already smack dab in the middle of a recruiting gold mine, they don't need Texas as bad as LSU and especially Arkansas.

Depth, simple as that. You'll see more Depth on the D-Line than you've ever seen at Arkansas in your lifetime.
Texas recruiting adds depth and that is what teams need to win championships.

It's good for Aggie, LSU, and Arkansas in different ways. There can be no doubt that this is bad news for UT.
