I think LSU is going to sacrifice RSs remaining eligibility in order to hopefully appear complicit and open relative to the NCAA inquiry into all things Lyles related. I think LSU is very worried about this investigation...or so I am told.

If it was just a simple issue, why would they go ahead and say there is no timeline for return. Ridley was suspended last year and then cleared for the first game like it was nothing. Miami's QB is linked to one of the biggest scandals to ever hit college football and they think he might be reinstated by this weekend. Yet Shep is out indefinitely for talking with a teammate about an interview? Something just does not add up.

Bottomline, I don't think RS plays another down in purple and gold.
