Looking for the Tiger fans in the Convention Center area....around the Omni.

Any good sports bars?

Fox and the Hound is downtown. Pretty big sports bar.

Flying Saucer across the street is pretty cool, though not a sports bar.

There's a piano bar down town that used to be a lot of fun. Can't remember the name.

The Library.

There's a couple more that I can't remember the name of right now.

search from earlier today...I shared my thoughts on the Fort Worth scene. I lived there for the past three years up until this month.

I agree with yetty about Joe T's. Never found it very appealing.

What are you looking to get into? College crowd, nice place to chill, dancing, sports bar?

Inside the Omni is the Whiskey & Rye bar...it is a decent place to hang out that is small and you will be able to talk to the people you are with.

There is a dance club around the corner called Fat Daddy's. This place has an older crowd, not a college hangout, but good for a fun night out.

There is a bar called the 8.0 a few blocks away that is usually a happening place. They will probably have live music outside on the patio. This attracts a crowd that is very mixed in ages.

The Flying Saucer has something like 300 beers on tap and a great outdoor patio upstairs.

Fort Worth is a great downtown area. Everything is walkable and there are plenty of different types of places to have fun.

Thanks for the great info. We're looking for some good eats and then the rowdy LSU crowds, but downtown FTW is probably gonna be P&G everywhere...

Dave and Busters is a good jumping off spot.
