In case you haven't figured it out by now, this is a waste of your time.
95% of the posters on this board either don't care, or are incredibly stubborn/biased in favor of LSU.

Did Boise have WAC talent when they beat you guys a couple years ago?
Watch Boise beat Georgia this year.

Going to be a good game. I think it will come down to the trenches too. I suspect if we don't sustain too many oline injuries, we're going to have our way against Oregon on the ground. If we can do that and Lee makes the throws when he has too, we'll be fine on offense. On defense, if our dline controls the line of scrimmage, that will make Oregon one-dimensional and play right into LSU's hands.
Perhaps the biggest factor will be our LBs. This type of offense usually gives LSU fits and we look to be underwhelming at LB this year. When our LBs aren't being aggressive, they're not good. I hope Chavis has learned the read and react strategy doesn't work. Just attack the offense and if they break to the second level, they deserve a TD.

Because we have WAC talent? Hawaii gets beat up any time they play the Pac too.
Oops, actually Hawaii is 4-3 against the PAC 10 in the last 5 years.
Including a bowl win over Arizona State.
Didn't Hawaii put over 500 yards passing on Monte Kiffin's offense last year?

I would imagine that Hawaii is one of those typical WAC teams that didn't give 2 shits about defense. I haven't seen many games in the June Jones era where it wasn't a shootout. Their best team in 2007 struggled against a Jake Lockerless (IIRC) Washington team at home.

Glad you cleared that up for us.

Very likely. But you won't watch Georgia win the SEC this year. Did you guys win the PAC 10 the year they beat you?
BTW I'm messing with you, I had to laugh when you made a crack about WAC talent.

Size is one thing.
Size and quickness, your in trouble.
Should be a good game, wish it was tonight.

I would not be surprised to see Georgia return to prominence this year. I haven't really looked hard at their team but they are usually a traditional power. Past few years has sucked for them. Murray is a superstar QB in the making. I would not be surprised to see him vastly improved.

I can't wait for sat this stuff is getting old man. Our line vs your line our def vs your off and on and on. I think it will be a good game and LSU will come out on top I guess we'll see on sat.

I will guarantee you that our big boys move very fast for their size. Bair ran the 4th fastest combine time last year and the fastest shuttle. Remington is very lean and athletic for 286.

We'll find out in 6 days
If we lose, it'll be because of the distractions surrounding the team right now ( )
Gonna be a battle can't wait to see Ware knock your LBs down like they're little girls

I know that you are being sarcastic but the comments about size are rampant and uninformed.
Auburn last year was much bigger than LSU this year. The correlations stop at both teams being from the SEC West.
Of course, I think the game is low scoring. I think Oregon can get a 175 on the ground though but will be much more limited in the air.

Too bad that this bad mother is gone, he would have been fun to watch against the Ducks.

bison, do you think high temps and humidity will affect your team?
Posted on 8/28/11 at 12:19 pm to VernonPLSUfan

Posted on 8/28/11 at 12:19 pm to VernonPLSUfan
