Lets say for the sake of argument Lee plays well and the Tigers are 6-0.

Jefferson returns,

What then? How big of a distraction for this team will that be? ESP if JJ continues his level of play from last season and Lee is having a good year.

I just think this team needs to move on from him, if he is innocent of the charges then it sucks he is robbed of his senior season, but no 1 player is larger than the team.

I still think this will go to trial, and likely will get ugly, with the defense attorneys pulling out all the skeletons in the witnesses and victims closets.

If it does go to a trial, this will not be resolved before the middle of next year, and the thought of Miles red shirting him is just absurd.

1. In spite of what people are saying, this is simply not the type of thing that goes to trial. Period. It'll be pled down, or the GJ won't return a true bill, or the DA may randomly decide to drop the shite once the media has lost interest (they're close now).

2. If Lee's doing well, JJ won't be the starter. But I can't, in good conscience, consider robbing him of an opportunity to return to the team (if he's able) just to avoid a QB controversy. shite, 2004 was the last time we didn't have one, and we've done fine.
