The team understands suspending them was a formality and out of Miles's hands.

exactly, and as long as he is under the felony charge....the admin of LSu wont let him play. simple as that.

The minute he allocutes, he is a proven liar.

Pleading guilty in JJ case would not IMO be an admission of guilt persay.

thats exactly what a guilty plea is.

You could ask JustMe but he had trouble with "third party witness" so who knows.....

Plead guilty to a lessor charge. No longer a felony and he can return.

There is no way they let him play after admitting to kicking a defenseless individual on the ground in the head.

And this "defenseless individual" arguement is getting old. Now i dont agree with the kicking in the head but truth be told if i'm in a fight with somebody i wanna hurt the guy not just win the fight. At some point in the fight he was upright; his fight strategy failed and he was knocked down.

Your defenseless argument is like saying if we go to war with a country and take out their anti aircraft artillery we should no longer conduct flight operations in battle because they are no longer able to defend it?

I wonder what these conversations would be had the "victims" won the fight...

If he had allegedly whooped someone's arse a week earlier, he could be playing for the Raiders for a 3rd round pick. He's better than Pryor.

Its not going to happen. Hillar would love to get this done, but JJ's defense team isn't going to go this route.

Was trying to impart that the decision has little to do with what the football team wants or thinks, hell maybe even little to do with the athletic admin.

The only piece of information you imparted was already known...."You, CptBengal, are one dumb arse"

Your total negativity towards the players involved throughout the past week leads one to only one assumption -- 5'2", 112 pounds and head/arse kicked every day of your life while in school. And, I am willing to bet, while out of school also. Gimme a break and leave, please. Hey, look, some little girl walking away with your Barbie doll...quickly catch her

It seems that the victim(s) are pushing for these charges to stick. Isn't one of them connected to someone in the judicial system? I'm not sure some of you dont understand that when you take violence beyond a reasonable level in a fight and cause broken bones that in a civil suit you will get a judgement against you. Somebody curb stomped someone when they were down and caused swubstantial bodily injury. i knew a badassed kid who would go around fighting and he did something similar to this, got a judgement against him and the whole thing put his life on hold until he could pay it off.

And that means they will be pleading guilty....again no way LSU let's him play.

Perrilloux got a misdemeanor before the 2007 season, yet he was still In the team for that season and helped us win a national championship.
