If Mett was so much better than Lee than has been riding the 3rd spot the past few months. Miles doesn't favor seniors, last year he played 5 true freshman on offense alone.
The only time Mett outplays Lee is when he's throwing against 3rd strings defenses. That long pass he threw to Boone was against mainly 3rd string. 2 white guys at DB and LB isn't exactly SEC competition. Neither is JUCO.

I've seen enough out of Lee. He's never going to be the quarterback you all want him to be. When he has to mix the run with the pass, he can't move the sticks.
If it's four down territory, and he is in a "pass only" situation, he is very good. Unfortunately, football doesn't work that way.
By the way, I hope all of you coming to the game wear "purple." That way we stand out better when ABC pans to the LSU section.

It took one google search to prove this wrong. He had 261 yards against Miss. State in 08.

why is it so hard to think that lee is ready for the rigors of the s.e.c. over mettenberger? this is based off pure experience and knowledge, not talent.

I admitted to being wrong about that. Look in the previous post where I said "that's the only thing I've been "wrong" about all night." You said I was wrong even before that, and everything I mentioned at that point was purely opinion-based.
