YOu obviously don't understand the difference between accused and arrested. To be arrested, there must be enough evidence presented that the DA believes you can reasonably be convicted. They should not be forced to serve the punishment until convicted, but that doesn't mean that society should not be protected until their guilt or innocence is established. That could take years. You are stating that Derrick Todd Lee should have been allowed to operate in society, and murder over and over again until legally convicted.

Like I said, a grand jury indictment or DA bringing charges is NOT a conviction. You are innocent at this point. Just because the DA thinks you may be guilty doesnt mean you are or that you should be treated like you are.

It's insane. I fear for your children, or future children. You are a walking argument for forced castration.

P.S. - Why did you avoid the rape aspect of my equation?

I'd argue that I'm not the poster boy for forced chemical castration you think I am, but that's just my opinion.

I did concede in the other post that I would be ok with such a suspension with full pay and benefits for said accused murder/rapist teacher.

The difference here is (and it's a big difference): there is no societal danger that could be argued. There is also no way to rectify a wrong if you suspend jefferson and you're wrong. He's playing college football. Not getting paid.

Sure he still gets his education, but let's be honest: that's not the reason he came to LSU to play football.

I copied and pasted this from you OP:

But being arrested should never be an "automatic suspension." And that goes for everything in life.

You are flip flopping back and forth.

I don't blame you, though.
