I agree too... I'm sure there is more to the story. I'm imaging the shoes match the DNA left on the Lowery's face for the reason they were arrested.
Still believe they were railroaded, but they should not have put themselves in a situation like they did.. I hope charges are dropped and they can finish their senior year.

The stomping of someone while on the ground is cause for the charge
Thats bullshite then. It was a bar/street fight. I cant tell how many times I have seen people stomp the shite out of someone on the ground, myself included. No one ever runs to the cops over it.
Pathetic. I bet they squat down to piss..

I didn't dispute that they should be charged based on the story the police are advancing. I disagree with the degree of the charge. I believe it should be first degree battery, based on the eyewitness accounts the police have.

Not true. Second degree battery requires a specific type of injury.
Lowery is claiming loss of consciousness which would satisfy that "severe" injury needed for a 2nd degree battery charge.
They have no way of verifying that though.

I don't think they were railroaded, I just think that is the way our legal system works. Innocent until proven guilty is BS. IMO, when you are arrested, you are assumed guilty and have to prove your innocence. Attorneys capable of proving your innocence are not cheap. Maybe the best in the world, but still has its flaws.

You can verify a concussion which normally coincides with loss of consciousness due to trauma.

is railroaded a verb or an adjective?
I would say in this context it is a verb. Any more questions?

Finally we agree on something. It happens all the time. The difference this time is the scumbag brought charges. Unfortunately as police they have to pursue the charges. Again unfortunately there was evidence to back it up. Another thing we can agree on is lowery( I did not capitolize is name on purpose)is scum.

Troubling Facts About this Case
The police have not interviewed the employees from Shady's who have gone public with their account(that contradicts the story told by Lowery) after not being interviewed.
Police have yet to interview the ex-girlfriend who he supposedly harassed in the club.
Police have yet to review the tape from inside the club.
The DNA test has not been reviewed yet.(Takes about 5-10 for DNA tests to be run)
The police have not interviewed the 12 lsu players that Jefferson, Johns, Landry and Davenport suggested they interview.

Are you basing your opinion on what you have read in the media or were you involved in the investigation and interviews? Just trying to figure out the credibility of your information before I begin to

Nope. All it takes is statements and a crossing a certain injury threshold and you can be arrested for the same thing. Think about it, they didn't get DNA from Johns.
For the record, I am convinced Jefferson didn't do it. BUT, what I said above is all it takes to get arrested. Pope Benedict could state that Jefferson didn't do it, but still would have been arrested based on the police report.

yes to the railroad
and yes to the kicking (seen kicks, administered kicks, been kicked...happens all the time at bars around LSU)
Take your arse whipping like a man...no teeth were lost, no bones broken (well just some minor fracture-lol), you'll be fine within a week.

They will offer a plea to a lessor charge and I hope the players dont take it because the DA will NOT be able to find a jury to convict and the whole thing is a waste of taxpayer money over a pussyass crybaby that cant take a arse beating like a man.
I would hate to be him or the girl because they will not be welcome in this state anymore for causing such drama and bullshite over not being man enough to take a assbeating they deserve.

We have some unbelievably stupid people in this world. How the frick can a shoe leave DNA?
Posted on 8/26/11 at 3:49 pm to A75CADDY
Baring all the reasons that this came about. Who started what, what girl was involved, did the piece of sh*t have it coming. The fact remains they have a witness that saw them kick the scum. Coupled with some video and some shoes they feel they have enough to charge. They are not guilty yet.
