don't you think these efforts would be better served elsewhere? There are thousands of people in this city with expire inspection stickers and your guys are worrying about a bar fight...

As Speedy has said before, everyone's first response is to claim the police shouldn't be looking at the violation they are guilty of but the more serious ones.

Not sure what the saying was, but the thief blames the rapest, the rapest blames the murderer, etc. Someone responded that traffic tickets don't belong with the rest (the topic was cops wasting time checking inspection stickers), but id argue that 2nd degree battery does belong in that 'violent crimes' area.

After watching that video of the kid getting punted in the face, i don't know how anyone has the audacity to say this is a waste of police resources.

It's a huge fricking waste of police resources.

I don't know where you saw someone "punted" in the face. All I saw on that video was 1 half assed kick.

I've seen much worse bar fights where people went to the hospital in ambulances and couldn't crawl out of bed for days. No charges, piss ant charges, and never anything like this.

This has gotten out of hand because someone at the BRPD is afraid of being accused of playing favorites and ignoring misconduct by the football team.
