Comfortis (spelling). Is a pill that I've gotten from the vet. Works wonders for my lab. I still double up on frontline just to be safe when I go to my camps or somewhere that will have fleas/ticks.

You can't let your dog get wet for 2-3days after you put the frontline on his back. Gonna have to chain him up or kennel him...otherwise your just flushing $ down the hole.

Been in a vet office for about 16-17 years working with my dad. And everything thing you said is right on the money. Especially keeping your dog contained for 24 hours after applying frontline.

Also, frontline does not keep fleas from jumping on your dog.. it just kills them once they jump on. Comfortis is a good product from what I hear, but I don't have any experience with it so I can't tell you anything about it.
