The fact that the Baton Rouge police department is dedicating so much time to this incident is beyond me. All I ever read about is how out of control the crime has gotten in BR, and they are hung up on this "investigation"? I use the term loosely because the statement made by the Chief pretty much sums up the capability of the department in my eyes.

I honestly believe thy they aren't putting as much into this investigation as they're making it out to be. People keep asking about it and they're not going to say "eh, we'll just wait until someone ha any evidence before we let this thing go". The incident is spotlighted by the media more than the police IMO.
