Any chance that whether or not players get suspended is out of CLM's hands?

I'm sure it's been brought up before, but I haven't seen it. What are the chances that suspensions are mandated by Joe Alleva or even the President of the University? I think even if CLM doesn't want to suspend the AD or President will force his hand due to all the bad publicity that has already come out over this thing. After tOSU and Miami, people's perception is that college football is out of control and unfortunately for our players it's going to lead to heavy-handed consequences as a PR move.

The Student Advocacy and Accountability Office in Student Life can suspend a student if they are charged with a crime. I've served on panels there where students have been suspended for off campus events. The panel is made up of faculty and student representatives and they can vote to decide what the consequences are for the students.

Coach Miles is no fool. He will definitely consult with his suervisors regarding how he deals with this matter. Any disciplinary actions he takes will likely have been agreed upon with his supervisors before being announced to the public.
