For you guys, absolutely. But LSU isn't dependent on the play at all. At Oregon it's actually an option, but for LSU it would be more of a hand off where Lee could keep the ball if necessary.

Then it's a shitty play.

Regardless if we base our offense around the option, this play doesn't work without the threat of running QB

dumb

And, exactly when would it be necessary for our QB without any running skills to speak of to keep the ball? The only possible time would be if the RB got taken out in the back field, which means the QB is going down behind the LOS too, so you might as well just scrap the play.

JL, WARE and a big OL aren't exactly the best personel for that play...whatever though.

JL can run the option. he has done it before. I doubt LSU will use it much with Crowton gone anyway. I hope not, at least.

I would love for you guys to use a read option instead of a regular iso.

With an actual option QB, i think we would run it well. I think most Tiger fans would like to see Russell Shep run this as QB more often, but thats just beating a dead horse.

I like JJ running it. Jordan's running abilty is pretty good.

If he would have simplified it for JJ, I think we would have had a more productive year (offensively) last season. Just too much personnel change and confusion for JJ to handle.

Matt Flynn ran it about as well as it could be

He was kinda forced to practice it. He was a pro style guy coming out of High School.

I am really interested in seeing our offense. I am getting a feeling that the offense is going to be a lot different.

In the spring we ran 40% under center in the ace.
