Are you sure about that?

The only rule I know of in regards to a CCG is that a conference must have at least 12 teams to have one.

And I don't know why some are making the 13-team deal some sort of "issue" as it's not. If the SEC invites A&M, it is inevitable that the league is going to 14 or 16 teams, so why does it matter if the league stands at 13 for a year or two while the other addition is finalized?

The MAC has had some seasons with 13 members as well as a conference game, though for the life of me I couldn't tell you how they made it work.

This was in one of the recent seasons where they'd lost teams to C-USA but had brought in Temple.
