from @scottrabalais

#LSU Chancellor Mike Martin said contrary to many reports, the SEC was "a ways away" from serious talks of expansion.

That said, Martin doesn't rule out expansion in future: "We have to be able to react." #LSU #SEC

Well if that's true and so did UGA, UF and SC then it may be harder for A&M to get approval then we think.

I'm almost positive Arkansas voted for A&M, we were big advocates for their inclusion.

Not scared, just that there is no need for them. Period. THey offer nothing at this point in time.

Stay the way we are. No need to ruin a great thing.

If A&M leaves the Big 12 we will vote them in. Its really up to A&M. I don't see why some of you can't see whats really going on.

Agreed. It's fascinating to me that so many people can't see what is going on. It's clear from the statements that Slive has given.

Slive hasn't said much of anything lately, hence all the speculation.

If that's true, to go along with UGA, USC and UF saying now as well, then it definitely sounds like Slive is not on the same page as the schools in his conference.

there was no vote today.

once a&m leaves the Big 12 then and only then will LSU be able to vote against bringing them in.

no one voted on anything today. i'm sure they discussed expansion with slive, but they didn't vote today because there was nothing to vote on. they can't do anything until aTm leaves.

i've seen rumors that the vote was unanimous and others that said uscjr. uf, and uga voted against it. ...and now lsu has been thrown into that mix lol.

anyone saying there was any kind of vote today is misinformed.

That's what I thought as well. Our chancellor danced around the questions he was asked but basically alluded to they're in if they want in.

There's so much flat out bullshite being thrown around it's ridiculous. The stupid in people really comes out when big events are unfolding.

it better happen.. im pretty sold on the idea of bringing in Missouri and TAMU.. if for no other reason than to get rid of the 'rivalry' game with Arkanas..

we have a real rivalry with TAMU.. we still owe them money..

plus, i think Missouri v Arkansas would be a nice rivalry
