With two potential teams coming in does the SEC try for one more bowl tie in? I vote for the Las Vegas bowl. Make it the 6th or so pick. So you can say "Yeah our season was average but we're going to VEGAS BABY!!!" It would be the best 6 or 7 win season ever.

What is lower than the Birmingham projects bowl? Too many damn bowls in the first place.

Add another BCS Bowl (cotton bowl)

and let a Conference have 3 BCS eligible teams.

I just want an SEC bowl game in Vegas. Or hell at least a home and home with UNLV.

you figure if the SEC goes to 14 the Big 10 and Pac-12 will do the same.

The 3 Best Football conferences with 14 or maybe 16 teams and only 2 from each can go to a bowl.

Now each conference (Sec, B1G, Pac) does 3 to BCS Bowls (if eligible) with the Cotton Bowl added.
That's 9 teams and 4 other teams eligible. So ACC Big east gets theirs, Texas gets theirs (if eligible) and some Mid Major team if eligible.

This all under the implication if the Big 12 is gone.

I thing the SEC should be assholes like Texas, and demand 2 automatic BCS bids.

What probably happens is one bowl bid for the Big 12 now goes to SEC or Big 10
