I honestly believe that if UTa and ESPN just shut up contracted and scheduled their highschool games it would have just been thought of as content filler as they are already having serious problems with providers picking them up.............. But they had to be beyond bold and arrogant and brag to everyone that we are about to bend over our little sisters(and really everyone else) and use ESPN and the LHN as the biggest recruiting tool imaginable........ And that's what led to this.

sorry man, that is really shallow. the rest of the big 12 is smarter than that. plus, the existence of the network itself has pissed a&m off beyond endurance. it goes back a long, long time with texas/texas a&m.

I know bad blood goes back a long time, and they were pissed off about the LHN, but they still tried to make it work. It wasn't until the bend over now were going to bribe kids with TV appearances that all hell actually broke loose.

Please, their fight song starts with "Good bye to Texas University". If that doesn't scream envy and we want out, I don't know what does.

All of that is irrelevant. It wasn't until UTa basically told the world watch how we screw them now that Aggie figured out that shite wasn't going to end.

Bull shite. So what, that's what it says. It's said that for a freaking 100 years or whatever. Texas and ESPN are too blame completely for the soon to be demise of the Little 12. Texas doesn't give a shite about the Big 12 Conference and neither does ESPN. Texas cares only about itself and when A&M bolts they will go out and convince some little sisters of charity to join the conference whose butts they can kick year end and year so that there only real game every year is still OU. So, while I don't care to see the SEC will become even tougher to get through, I don't fault A&M for wanting to go to a conference that doesn't cater to just one spoiled program that thinks they are above the rest of the teams in their conference. Yea, they will have to play LSU, Bama, Auburn, Arkansas, MSU, Ole Miss and one or two teams from the east every year but they will get an equal share of the money.

And equal voice in conference matters is just as important. They finally just got tired of bending over for the horns
