Without a doubt, the most thought provoking western ever.

Had to watch this for American History: 1865-present, wasn't looking forward to it because everything I've had assigned in college wasn't exactly interesting. After seeing the cast I became intrigued and thoroughly enjoyed it, very good western.

"Liberty Valance" and "The Searchers" are my two favorite westerns....Lee Marvin is great as Valance.

Saw this for the first time my freshman year in college. Awesome movie, great actors.
