Say NO to expansion unless there is a playoff system!

I just dont see the benefit to LSU in any expansion scenario. The conference is tough enough already with the yearly bama/fl on our schedule.

Nancy Regan is that you?
Just say no!
Just say no!

The idea behind super conferences is that they will function as a playoff system. ... think...
and Playoffs don't exactly help teams that get recruits because of the conferences they are in.

Unfortuntely the powers that be will be hypnotized by the dollar signs and say yes.

Many people in the know believe that conference expansion will eventually bring about a playoff system.

With expansion, I doubt we would still play Fla every year

You know you wouldn't play every team that is added. I don't understand how the idiots that are so aganist expansion don't understand that

IMO, they are just scared that somehow their team will never win anything again
chicken littles IMO, rather sad
fans of the big bad SEC are against adding schools that can compete with "their" school
Im all for four...let's do 16 now and 24 in 2020

SEC expansion is not related to an NCAA playoff scenario. The SEC must do what's in its best interest NOW or at any time for that matter. A playoff may or may not occur with or without expansion.

Potential new and approved S.E.C. candidates: A + M, Okla, Okla.St, Fla St, Ga Tech, Clemson, NC, NC St.
Virginia Tech: No. Too far north geographically, as is Kentucky. UK should be "invited" to leave the SEC and join the Big Ten. They are a much better fit for the Big Ten geographically and basketball wise.
Personally, I'd like to see LSU join forces with Texas and form a new Southwest Conference.
1. LSU
2. Texas
3. Texas A + M
4. Tex Tech
5. Houston
6. Baylor
7. TCU
8. SMU
9. Arkansas
10. Oklahoma
11. Okla.St
12. Tulsa
Tell the SEC and CBS to shove their "You'll move any game we want to daylight and like it" TV contract up the wazoo.
The new Southwest Conference would command an even bigger TV contract than the current SEC contract with CBS. (Bigger markets in Houston-Dallas-San Antonio-Austin-Oklahoma City) Would have both afternoon games AND a prime time night game every Saturday with stipulations that "No team would be required to move a home game to afternoon for TV" (The LSU clause)

Wrong. WTF would LSU want to team up with texas, after what they just pulled? Makes no sense at all.

Expansion is the first step along the path to the playoffs IMO.

Completely WRONG.
Those markets aren't close to what you'd be leaving.
And we'd just be an appendage to Tx-Ok, to be treated as they see fit.
