Hasn't Family Guy been cancelled like 3 times? At least one of those times must have been when the show was still funny

Also, FOX forcing King of the Hill out to make room for the Cleveland Show still pisses me off. Affirmative action at its worst IMHO

I'm having a hard time thinking of a cancellation that actually surprised me. Even with good shows, it's easy to read the writing on the wall with declining ratings and a general lack of discussion.

I'm much more often surprised by the shows that get renewed.

Arrested Development is the obvious one, IMO. I don't understand how such a hilarious show could have tanked.

Not that King of the Hill was bad by any means...but they were on the air for 13 years. I don't think it is too surprising.

WKRP. Damn funny show and had CBS left it alone on the schedule, it could've found a consistant audience.

I meant surprising in that I didn't think it was going down hill (no pun intended) or that the show's staff wanted to end it then. I don't know what their ratings were like, but I was still tuning in.

Is this a thread basically just listing shows you liked that got canceled? Because it's not really hard to believe or understand why a lot of these shows got canceled. And most of the time it's not because of quality...
