In Destin for a few days staying at the Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort....looking for some killer seafood and wondering where I can find it?

Went with Ms Wafer (no pics) and her family and we ate at this place called Stinkys. It was actually pretty good.

Harbor Docks still around? It was there in the 70's, used to be very good.

Drive to Ft. Walton Beach and eat at Old Bay Steamer. You will thank me later.

This seems to be the winner. We will probably hit it up tonight then...anyone ever been to Acme Oyster House on the Sandestin resort? The brochure we got of the place has a pretty good review.

You won't be disappointed, it's been a while since I've been but it was excellent.

Don't do it. I'm telling you man, Old Bay Steamer. I made a second trip to Florida this summer just to go back to that place.

OLD Bay Steamer not the prettiest place but good food.
I though Poppy's Crazy Lobster was good and was a nice place but expensive.

How far is ft. Walton from Destin?

Mitchell's fresh market about 1 mike past Sandestin resort in the shopping center was a fantastic meal. Also Cafe 30A was great also.

Go to HWY 30-A and eat at George's, Flying Fish Cafe, Cafe Tango, Cafe 30-A or The Flying Fish. The food on 30-A blows Destin away.

You will be splitting hairs when looking for the answer to this one. Obviously pricing & location/scenery will be some sort of factor unless you are an OT Baller.
I sugguest Pompano Joe's in Miramar Beach. You get the beach front scene, Tiki Bar and really good seafood for a good price.
