I think it's good for college football, provided teams will continue to play at least one OOC BCS team. My fear is 9 game schedules will deter future great regular season OOC matchups.

but keep in mind, a team that wins the BigTen will now face 9 conference teams, at least one decent OOC team(like a notre dame) and then the Championship game.... if someone can make it through that schedule undefeated it would be impressive.

The extra conference game is largely overblown; in the P12's case, the ninth conference game has pretty much taken the place of a good OOC game. It's good for a conference that makes money. After all, what would you rather have--Iowa playing Syracuse and half the money going to the B1G, or Iowa playing Michigan State and all the money going to the B1G?

The 9th conference game had virtually no effect on the P10/12's SOS; same will go for the B1G.

And honestly, I'd rather see LSU play a 9th SEC team than play Oregon or West Virginia or Arizona or Washington or North Carolina, etc...
