Anyone know when the Madisonville gar rodeo is this year? I thought it was normally the fist weekend in August, but I have also heard it is this weekend. Just trying to find out for sure.

Blind River Bar's is the 6th and 7th.

This coming weekend is the tournament, think you have to be signed up by friday the 29th.

4LSU2 is the co-chair of it this year. He should be along shortly to pass along information.

I know Route 22 Gas and Bait has entry forms, I'm sure River Food Mart has some forms, other than that I don't know.

Tiger, do they release the gars after the tourney?

I don't think they release them, seeing as only jugs are allowed for fishing the tournament and they have to be left in the gar when weighed-in. But I also found out for the OP final sign up day is tomorrow, the actual tournament starts friday at 6 pm.
