Lived in Laffy for awhile, and frankly was surprised it received the award. While I had good meals at Cafe V, Charlie G's and Pamplona, they were very inconsistent - probably due to a high turnover in chefs. What Laffy does have is a large number of very good "plate lunch" type of restaurants: Dwight's, Creole Lunch House, Ruby's,etc. Last I heard, Pop's closed about 2 weeks ago. But, hats off t the city. Should do it some good with luring tourists.
