I second that.

Best margherita pizza I've ever eaten was in florence (and we ate them at every city we could).

I don't know anywhere to eat or drink. I was only 17 when I went so I was't looking into that as much as their relaxed view of alcohol. (shitty)Beer in coke machines.

If you get out into the countryside of Florence, there is a place called "Il Tre Pini" (three pines) that is out of this world. They make their own wine (duh) and the cooking is as fresh as can be. They served a bruschetta that I swear had tomatoes that were still on the vine 5 minutes before I ate it. Homemade sausage that was better than any Italian sausage I've ever had. Lamb, steak, duck, etc. etc. etc. Plus there's a guy who will sing and try to fondle your wife!
