Do you need to have played the previous games to get this one?
I was thinking about getting the last one for 360 but it seems like it's been awhile. might just wait for this one to come out.

TES3: Morrowind is the greatest game i've ever played
I never really got into oblivion because of the fricked up leveling system until i got it for pc with mods to fix it. still, it being out a while is why you should get it. u can get the game of the year version for like $20. it will still hold up, graphics/gameplay hasn't really come that far the last few years... its still a top 20 game of this generation of consoles

Agreed. As good as Skyrim will be I don't think Bethesda will be able to make another Morrowind. Oblivion was great, but Morrowind was a masterpiece.

Don't get the GoY edition, wait a month or so (not sure exact date) and they are releasing a 5 year anniversary edition with all the DLC for $30. I'm buying that one b.c it's been a while for me.

In Oblivion, I really missed the god powers (constant effect items just weren't as good) you could create and flight. Flight was just so damn awesome for getting around.

I really enjoyed Oblivion, but just like DA2, the dungeons got repetitive after a while.
I have a hard time sticking with sandbox games, but managed to knock out all acheivements on this one.
