I was skeptical, I generally don't like black comics because they just go racial and that's it.
But he is pretty solid.
I'm about 20 minutes in and laughing pretty good.

You obviously have never watched a full episode of Def Comedy Jam, or watched dozens of other stand-up acts.
In any case, Elephant in the Room is a terrific show. I posted the Natalee Holloway bit on here before. I love how real he gets when he talks about how men fantasize about killing their wife.

Since I wanted to finish up Louis CK's show, I decided to check this one out based on the board's recommendations.
So far, I'm enjoying it. I like that he's pretty good-natured about the issues he talks about.

That "real talk" is one of the reasons I love Louie CK so much too
Patrice is a really smart dude. If you've listened to him on O&A, you get the inside on why he's not bigger than he is in Hollywood. Chris Rock was on O&A the same time as Patrice one time and told him, if he wasn't such an a-hole, Patrice would've been the dad on Everybody Hates Chris.

I was watching TV this morning and my SO was sleeping and one of those Animal commercials came on and I started laughing and woke her up; she looked at the TV and was was like "what is so funny?"
I was imagining Patrice sing "The kitten's got them pencils stuck in their heeeaaaaddddsss!.... and them puppies are in the bowls!!!!"
