I don't understand why people are putting blinders on and hoisting JJ to the sky

Hope is your answer for most, but most should be sick of hoping after what, 2 full seasons plus?
I want JJ to do well just like any Tiger fan should want, but realistically speaking, when is it time to face reality? Mauck and Flynn were better leaders than QB's, and they could make 'quarterback-like' decisions without someone else telling them what to do. It's called instinct, and it's blatantly obvious that JJ doesn't have it. It doesn't always hurt us, but JJ not having any instinct for the game has made it difficult for us on a number of occasions. We can obviously win with him, but if he were a bit sharper under the helmet winning would be a lot easier.

I have been quite critical of JJ on this board, but I would love nothing more than for him to suddenly 'get it.' That would mean a 60+ percent completion rate, a 2 to 1 TD to INT ratio or better and LSU would go through its schedule with one loss or better.

I'm just not expecting it.
