Not enough wins.

No championships.

I love Archie, but his impact on the overall league was minimal. I don't judge his greatness by number of wins or number of championships. I know he's a great player. But that's how others will judge him. We see him differently because he was the best player on a bad team, and we saw what he could have potentially been. But that's not enough for the NFL Hall of Fame.

I seriously doubt he stays up late at night wondering why he isn't in the Hall of Fame. I'm pretty sure Archie is satisfied with who he is and who he was in football.

Not enough stats either. 1 year he throws for 18 TDs, very good for early 70s, then he spends 3 years in a row with single digit TDs. Same problem with passer rating and yards. Archie had some real bad years mixed in with a few good ones.

Statistically Archie doesn't belong in the HOF.
