3. It's an issue if someone's never owned a long gun before and isn't sure if they should blow a grand on one.
4. See number 1 again. Also, would you trust a child with an AR? How about a 10/22?
5. You must not go to a lot of different ranges. Some only allow rifles in .22 or just no rifles at all. Plus, you can shoot it in your back yard if you're in a rural area and not disturb neighbors. You can't do that with an AR.
6. Don't have to wear ear plugs, also contributes to number 5.
7. Not true, I still shoot my 10/22. It's just fun. Plus, 1-6 all contribute to it making a better gun to learn on.

Price, backyard shooting, loudness, and being a child has nothing to do with this case. I doubr the guy asking is 7 years

not knocking the 10/22 I love it great firearma nd fun to shoot.
