I actually brought ought the old 64. Only problem is I have an HDTV which it wont work on....:(. I'm thinking about picking up a small one at a pawn shop or just boring one.

your HDTV should have a standard component input... i can't see why it wouldn't

I had my doubts a couple of weeks after I bought my 3DS...but after seeing the OOT and Starfox trailers, and confirmation about Super Smash Brothers..I'd say it's money well spent.

Sorry GB for not posting sooner.. I was to busy playing OOT. This shite is phenomenal. The controls are a little different but the same exact game. And the graphics are a little better than N64 version. This game is a re-lived child hood memory full of win.

I am completely loving it. The updated graphics, not just the 3D, look phenomenal. The menus now on the touch screen are extremely intuitive. This remake retains the charm of the original but feels extremely fresh. I am pleasantly surprised at how much fun I've had playing it today.
TigerFan86- were you able to get the free CD after registering your game? Club Nintendo got hammered this morning and I couldn't register the game, but I got it after calling their support number.

I watched a review and it looked like a nice update. Wish I had the opportunity to try it out.

I just got past Dodongo's Cavern. I am having a blast playing this game. The graphics look great and the game runs very smooth. I was happy to find out they didn't change the music. Playing this reminded me that OoT is my favorite game I've ever played.

It's worth it. Plus they have a remake of Star Fox 64, Mario Kart, and a new Super Mario World game coming out for it.
