If JJ does have his best year, then LSU will have a great year, BUT, he does not have to have a GREAT year for LSU to have a GREAT season.

If he just cuts his INTs in half and doubles his TD passes, he'll be a little better than average, and LSU will be nearly unstoppable.

I look to Jason Campbell as a possible precedent. The guy was a joke for three years, then All SEC as a senior and had a decent pro career.

That's all we can ask for...no one really expects JJ to earn the heisman this year, but just be 'improved' and more consistent!!
