Yea I doubt the noise reduction is much over the CB shorts anyway, and I know the CBs are safe. I think I'll just stick with them. I can shoot a 30-06 at my house without pissing anybody off, so it'd be pretty stupid of me to risk it. I have a 22 pistol that would probably be really cool to shoot these things out of though.

Just a recap, all three were very loud out of a pistol. The barrel just isn't long enough to damper the sound. As far as shooting out of the rifle bbl, I have not had any problems yet. At first they made me nervous, now I'm starting to trust them. However, do your own research this is not a recommendation from me to shoot any of these out of a long bbl. Where can I get CB shorts so I can compare them to what I already have? Walmarks? Academy?
