The first part was me being sarcastic referring to the second point. If I went on your boards and posted saying LSU was doing German Nazi workouts to get ready then you would laugh at us.

There wasn't a need to say as specifically as you did that UO was doing Navy Seal type of workouts. By referring to it specifically you were trying to impose a sense of superiority because everyone knows that the Navy Seals are tough.

An by posting "logic" you will do nothing for you. There are statistics either way, and you honestly don't judge a program by a two year window. A decade is a better representation, but still doesn't tell you about a program. Are the Phillies an Elite baseball team? They are pretty damn good right now, but they only have 2 World Series titles. Whereas the Yankees laugh at everyone even if the Yankees don't win because they have 27.

This still cracks me up. After letting it digest a day, I guess he gives himself an out by using the word "type", for such a bold statement.

But he makes sure to drop the name Navy Seals in there as to incinuate that Oregon has not only athletes but guys that are in top notch physical condition, smart, can fight their way out of a corner, and how convenient to use that after the Seals get credit for completing a successful mission of taking down world enemy #1 a month ago.

And of course, no other team - especially LSU for that matter - has the calliber of athlete to compare to Oregon's physical specimen of athletic utopia.

He knows what he's doing when he says that. But the fact that he would even attempt to go there is what cracks me up.
