well who gives a damn that pm is javi sanchez's godfather the dude is just plain stupid,he has zero coaching ability,and pm,s arse is going to be on the line if he keeps him

It's been said a lot on here in different threads that LSU is not a place for a coach to "learn" his skills. With respect to baseball, I tend to agree with this. But, much like you bring in freshman every year in every sport who can spend some time and learn their respective positions so that as juniors and seniors they can be productive, I think you can do the same thing with young coaches.
I have no problem with CPM keeping Javi, as I don't believe his career should be scuttled. But, CPM should hire a seasoned hitting coach...someone who knows what he's doing and someone from whom Javi can learn. Javi is a young man with a long career in front of him. He obviously has some abilities so they should be allowed to grow through learning.
I don't blame Javi, but rather CPM for placing him in a position of extreme importance on the staff before he was ready.
Just my 2 cents.
