Jay Walker has nothing but nice things to say about LSU's baseball program. He's gotten into arguments with Cajuns fans on air about the team as well. Also, he's much better at his job than Jim Hawthorne.

I didn't read the blog, but I won't disagree one bit that we should not be a team on the bubble worried about getting the invite. Heads are already rolling today (see Grewe), and I promise you Coach Mainieri knows that two straight seasons of a losing record in SEC play is not acceptable.

Jim Henderson is on a whole different planet from these two guys but Hawthorne is an absolute ear sore.

Hawthorne is getting that grumpy old man thing and it's coming through on his broadcast more and more each year - but then again, so is Jay Walker when I hear his show from time to time.

So another words, the LSU alum who host a USL radio program and broadcasts for the Cajuns believes LSU's program has been reduced to a USL.

Walker is just mad because his team's one shining moment, beating LSU, isn't as grand now because LSU isn't taking their usual run at the title. LSU's failure to reach the post season hurts his cajuns bragging rights, one of the things they live for in cajun land just doesn't seem as wonderful anymore.

I have lived here in Lafayette for 3 years now and I can not believe all of the anti LSU sentiment. There is definitely a complex over here. Jay Walker is a huge douche when he ever discusses LSU on his radio show. Most of the other local radio hosts are generally pro LSU.
