Can I use my gamertag on two xboxes?

Thinking about buying another xbox for downstairs. Mainly would use it for Netflix, but also games now and then.
Are there any issues logging in to both at the same with my XBL profile? I'd be playing on one and have Netflix running on the other at the same time.
Could I just use a XBL Silver account to access Netflix?
Don't want to waster my money on another xbox if I can't use both. I'm not wasting money on another XBL Gold subscription either.

Yes, however you will have to recover your account each time you switch to the other system(huge pain in the arse). I'm not sure about Netflix and Silver live account.

Yeah, that's what I figured. I just didn't know if I could even do it that knowing Microsoft.
I think I will try to use Netflix with the Silver account and just recover my Gold account when I play games downstairs.

I don't know. That's what I was saying. I will try to create another silver account and see if it works. If not, I'm not paying another $60 a year just to watch Netflix on another xbox.

Just have another gamertag. If I'm not mistaken though Netflix requires a gold account. As for recovering your gamertag that can sometimes take a while depending on the amount of stuff attached to it. Mine took like 10min to recover one day but my girlfriends takes like a minute.

Umm...no. I have my accounts on two consoles no problems. If you are worried about game saves and such then all you have to do is keep your profile on a USB stick and move it from box to box when playing. It's easy.

Yep. Just set up another account and found that out for sure. But I have Gold for free for a month with it.
Might just pay the other $30 and get the family plan.

I would get a PS3 if anything. Not a bad idea though. Only reason I was gonna get another 360 is b/c mine probably doesn't have much longer so I would have a replacement already.

You can't use the same Xbox live profile on 2 360s at the same time. If you want to be able to quickly move your Xbox live profile between 2 360s, you can put it on a memory card and just plug your memory card into the system you want to use it on. Also, you could just move the hard drive back and forth that has your profile on it. Otherwise, you will have to recover it everytime, which takes 5 to 10 minutes.
