If you guys struggle against a North Carolina team last year that had all its best players suspended then you guys aren't beating us by 30+ as many on here seem to believe (though I have seen some rational people on here). And you guys call us crazy....

Not saying you can't or won't win. In fact I think you guys (at least today anyway) will likely win but no way in hell will it be by THAT margin.... More like somewhere between 3 and 14 points if I had to guess (both teams will be rusty/sloppy in the first game and make mistakes as most if not all teams do even against cream puffs, let alone in a game featuring two talented likely top 5 teams). The past 2 seasons in the opening game LSU theoretically should have won by at least 3 TDs against both UW (coming off 0-12, enough said) and UNC due to the talent difference (I'm sorry I know UNC was ranked but come on when all but one of their best players get suspended, you have to take advantage of that...) between both of them and you guys (the same difference in talent I've seen quite a few on here claim over Oregon) but it didn't even happen in those cases where those gaps in talent actually existed...

I'm all for rational discussion but I feel like 90% of the time (at least in threads about this game) I'm on here I see a bunch of pissing matches and stupid arguments, some started by our fans and some by yours but it's really annoying in either case....

Hey, we played UNC with every single player of theirs who didn't break NCAA rules. If they had been guys of better character, they wouldn't have signed with UNC in the first place, they'd be spread around the nation with different teams. Hell, we might have signed some of them. But as luck would have it, CLM laid the fricking law down on Perrililloueax and showed recruits and current players no one is above the rules, 5 star Qb of the future, or not.

So if UNC was short some players, it's their own damn fault, not LSU's. CLM picked the best players for our team, not the best players.

You Ducks continually bring up the UNC game with the suspended players...but just like the Oregon St game you all keep bringing up the 3 missed extra points failing to mention LSU's 2 missed FGs and TD called back...

You all keep mentioning the UNC game like it was a low scoring affair when LSU put up 30 pts in the game and over 300 yds of offense...

It was LSU's secondary play that played poorly that day and UNC's missing best players were on the defense not the offense...

And don't come in here saying..."well if their best players were in the game they would have won" huh no...if that were the case the game is entirely different from play calls, schemes etc., no one knows how it would have turned out...

If you want to go that route then we could say if LSUs secondary plays like it was suppose to then the game is not close...

We had a 30-10 lead on UNC and were going in to make 37-10 before we let them off the hook and laid down.
If you aren't intimidated by what we did against North Carolina, what about what we did against Alabama, Florida, and Texas A&M ?????????????
