Flying Carp are jumping into boats

A Buddy of mine working for the state has been cruising the river around angola prison. He was telling me about having flying carp jumping in the boats. I guess they will be all over Lake Ponchartrain and the northshore rivers now.

shite I hope not! We go tubing and wakeboarding too much for those things to be there

are they edible? I'm from North Louisiana and we would eat Gar on occasion , had to know how to clean it but we ate them. some of those carp look real meaty.

I'd love to travel the river on a USCG boat with a .50 cal mounted on it and long long chains of ammo... could be a blast!
