Morganza and ORCS Video

Took a drive out there today. Lot of water. The videos don't do it justice. Tons of survey crews on all of the structures we crossed. COE is keeping a careful watch.

Holy crap that's a lotta water! 
Thanks for shooting/posting those videos. The 11 bays open one is the first one I've seen to really give me an accurate mental picture of what's going on in that area.

You can't really appreciate it unless you see it. Go to the low sill structure. You can walk up to within feet of the water. There is often a Corps guy out there who will explain to you exactly how it works. No video or photo can convey what it is like.

BTW, the ORCS is actually more impressive to see than Morganza, IMHO.

I don't think there is any question, the flow going through the Low Sill scares the living shat out of me.
