According to Forbes 17 of the 30 teams lost money in 2009-2010

The reality is there isn't ten teams about to go under but there are 5 that are sinking fast. If they dont get the financial agreement rewritten then a snowball effect could sweep the problems to more than just the bottom 5

Stern wants the players revenue share to go from 57% to 40% even half that would dramatically effect the team values in a positive direction

the revenue/cost problem? no way. that is consistent

now the franchise valuation issue? i'll buy that. these teams aren't worth what the owners believe they are.

this whole problem is the fricking owners. i just think it's bullshite at its core. i also do not believe owners are truly behind this "one size fits all" cap. the knicks and lakers WILL spend more than the bucks. it's too important to the NBA not to have that happen
