and most of the people you would count on, don't have the resources ready to last more than a few days....not to mention even someone that is "well prepared" would probably be out of ammo after the first good gun battle.

How many people would leave there families to go off and fight?

How many would just hunker down at their homes?

How many would just scatter out?

You would have to scavange to survive no question about that.

I have a camp in the deep marshes of south louisiana, only reachable by a 45 minute boat ride, I have plenty of rifles and one assault rifle, would like to have shite tons of ammo and a Barrett 50 cal sniper rifle to add to my arsenal, but I could easily live off the land and stay low until the U.S army pushed them out, totally unrealistic senario, but red dawn is one of my favorite movies

I don't think the value would be in hunters trying to act like regular infantry as much as snipers, skirmishers and other forms of guerrilla warfare.
