any chance we get rid of bradley before 2014(without a major disaster)?

among other things, the fact that his son starts 90 min almost every game at the most crowded position is nausiating. it reminds me more of junior high baseball then international soccer.

(not saying micheal is crap. just not exactly head and kneck above the other midfielders that could be contenting.) i feel like mix and stu edu jermaine etc will all be contenting for one spot over the next couple of years.. and under any other coach it would be and open competition.

I understand your viewpoint, but I don't think its simply nepotism that Baby Bradley plays the full 90. His ability to cover the whole field affords us some sense of defensive stability, his long range passing is pretty good, and he can support attacks better than most of our other central midfield options save Jones (probably equal to Holden). I have a strong feeling that he would be penciled in at one CM spot under any coach.

I love the kid to death, regardless of who his father is. He plays his arse of every game is definitely the work horse of the USMNT. He can always be found causing problems all over the field and is a valuable member of our squad.

I'd rate our CM talent right now as

1. Holden
2. Jones
3. Bradley

Since one is out injured, and 2 was only recently eligible for the USNT. Bradley's PT make a lot of sense.

Mike B would be getting significant minutes no matter who the coach is.

Apologies for not proof reading(I was typing fast and in a rush).
I was in no way questioning the quality of M Bradley. I am not saying he is not one of the better CM. However, he is in the company of several other players of similar quality. You would think at this level BOb would do everything to insure that there is no conflict of interest.

Honestly(and this is a genuine question) if Micheal continues to the ride the bench in Europe, and is outperformed in camp by two other players getting quality club PT, do you really think Bob would consider sitting him during the Gold Cup?

Yes, if there are clearly better options.
Either way, he needs to get some club PT.

I would love to see Holden in his Bolton role for the USMNT.
