You'll learn how each of the franchise's major characters -- Altaïr, Ezio, and Desmond -- play a part in the story, and how you'll control each of the three as playable characters. Uncover a brand new part of the world as Ezio travels abroad for the first time to explore the wonders of Constantinople at the height of the Ottoman Empire.

I hope the Ottoman doctors have dialysis machines... what is Ezio about 70 by now?
It will be interesting to see what they do with Constantinople... Continuing from the events of Brotherhood, Ezio's part will probably take place around 70 years after the siege by the Ottoman Turks, which would make it a period of cultural (namely architectural) transition. I'm also proud that they aren't calling it Istanbul, as only the Ottomans called it that until the 20th century.

I was honestly hoping that they would move on from Ezio to maybe a few hundred years in the future. All of the rumors surrounding the Da Vinci DLC pointed toward America possibly during the American Revolution. I am excited for what they have in store for this one, however. The gameplay has gotten increasingly more enjoyable and the story is epic as balls. Hopefully they can bring some closure to the whole Altaiir/Ezio story and move on. I wouldn't mind if they created an entire new set of branch game(s) from a different assassin relative of Desmond as long as they continue to keep the standards high.

I had hoped for a new character outside of Ezio but pretty stoked about some Altair action. Can't wait.

The creators have a lot to fill out... this one has the feeling of Metal Gear Solid 4.
Eden, Subject 16, Desmond's "destiny," the relevance of Altair and Maria, among other things. It will surely either be a flurry of information and amazing storytelling or a failure of a conclusion.

IMO, Assassains creed is THE ONLY game that could be made into a movie given it's deep story....but I'm sure Hollywood would find a way of f*cking it up. that's their specialty. But, I can't wait for this one. On a side note, I thought they said that they were going to take some time off from assassins creed after brotherhood because they didn't want to ruin the franchise with yearly releases like COD (their words, not mine)?
