Did it last May. Bring plenty of beer/alcohol, majority of the state is dry. Consolidate your stuff, and only bring what you need, the more shite you bring in the more likely you are going to flip from being top heavy.

Always remember two things while floating, never grab a limb, let the fricker hit you or get low. Grabbing the limb will cause you to flip. And the second is never touch the rail. We made it all the way through our three day trip and one of the four boats flipped at the very end.

We used a campsite one night and stayed out on a bank another. Simply beautiful place to camp in the middle of nowhere. Just don’t set your tent to close to the water. Flash floods are no joke.
