Livingston Parish 2011 Class - Athletic Scholarships - HOW THEY DOING AFTER A Y

Nine High Schools in the parish, 5 play football -Albany (3A); Springfield (2A); Denham Springs, Live Oak, Walker (5A). Others are French Settlement, Holden, Doyle and Maurapas.
Not looking for walk-on attempts in the list. Athletic scholarships are offered by D-I, D-II, NAIA schools and JC's. D-III schools do not offer athletic scholarships (ie: MS College, Millsaps, LA College)

Guess all the hype about tyler mcgrew has gone away. Thought he was suppose to be the real deal. I mean D1 slu type guy.

For a major suburban parish, that # is pretty pathetic IMO....

I am not looking for walk-on attempts (generally don't pan out). Athletic scholarships are offered by D-I, D-II, NAIA schools and JC's. D-III schools do not offer athletic sholarships (ie: Miss College, Millsaps), but they still require signed leters of intent and normally offer academic money and oher assistance to athletes.

Blake Ray from Holden will be playing softball at Southeastern next year. Pretty certain she will be on scholarship. She was parish MVP this year.

This..she is the real deal. I know Holden is a small school but I think LSU missed out .The Pitcher at holden Haley Grantham has some smaller school offers

Can't recall I was in Coach Nettles office a couple weeks ago and asked and he said Jazz is having to go get his grades up at JUCO before going to a 4 year school, but he was definitely going somewhere
Off the top of my head I see you missed Lakiesha Lee, girls point guard at denham who signed to play at northwestern state
