Is it morally wrong to hate a team as much as I do the Red Army? I swear that Babcock is really related to Stalin, Krushchev, Bryznev and Putin

Yes, I am concerned about your morals if you hate the Red Wings.

I am 100% convinced that fans of the Red Wings are also fans of the Lakers, Yankees, and Cowboys.

Not a fan of any of those teams.

I can see why you feel that way. I went to see the Red Wings play the Dallas Stars in Dallas, and there was almost more red than green in the stands...

I grew up in Detroit nad have been a Wings fan all my life. I never heard of the Red Army term thats thrown around here a bit. Is it just cause they are the Red Wings or is there somthing behind it? Does it come from the 90's when they had the Federov and Konstantinov ect.
I have been out of the loop for quite a few years cause of the job and havent been able to keep up as much as I like to until the last few years.

osgood actually uses a helmet from the old Red Army.

Reasons I use the term Red Army:
1. Unies, take the winged Wheel off add CCCP
2. The Russian 5
3. They are a machine much like the Red Army team, Bowman was as demanding Vickor Tikanov was
4. Just a term I like to use

Cool thanks! I did not know that bit about the helmet.

yeah, not too long ago part of his helmet broke. because the style of helmet is so outdated, the only replacement he could find was one that was used by the old Red Army.
